Ford has released more specifications and information on it's 2nd generation Raptor.  The new truck will be debuting this fall and will feature an all new 3.5L Twin-Turbo Eco-boost engine delivering 450 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. of torque.

In addition to the new engine, the Raptor will feature a new 10-speed transmission with an exclusive transfer case.  The transmission will be managed by a 6 mode terrain software selector system.  The terrain selector will allow the Raptor to drive most efficiently by being able to switch to a driving profile that's optimized for the environment it's being driven in.

The new Raptor also benefits from an aluminum alloy body that's currently being used in the new Ford F-150.  This new aluminum alloy body shaves 500 pounds from the previous generation Raptor.  This new body paired together with the transmission nets the Raptor an 23% improvement in fuel economy.

The new 2017 Ford Raptor gives you all the tools to conquer the pavement and off-roading adventures you pit it against!
